Boozhownd Doggonit

Boozhownd Doggonit is Tom Drury. A favorite among the I, Absentee crew and an original signing with the label, his music is truly unlike anything out there. Sometimes tongue-in-cheek, sometimes serious, always unique... His debut album, created under unique, mysterious settings, via indiscernible instrumentation/software, was not for the faint of melody. However, Boozhownd also has a far more subdued, muted side of his persona, which surfaced in moments on the album and particularly came forth in his collaboration in 2009 with Forrest, for the elusive 'Night Creature' EP. Ranging from off-time hip hop to acoustic, ambient compositions with a harmonica, Boozhownd is arguably the most innovative, unpredictable and challenging act on the label.
